Hjalti E. Hafsteinsson

Our competitors relations officer and a valued member of the organising committee, Hjalti E Hafsteinsson, died on July 6th 2009

His death came as a blow to us all and he will be sourly missed.

We send heartfelt condolences to his widow and all his family.

His funeral was 14th July 2009, from Fossvogskirkja at 13:00. The rally fraternity was there in numbers and followed Hjalti this, his last special stage. Pictures from the service and the procession can be seen at the MotivMedia web page.
